Meet Annia Raja, PhD

I’m a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience helping high achievers struggling with anxiety, burnout, and many other concerns.

I love helping my clients navigate and heal the relationships in their life—be it with a partner, family members, friends, work, society in general, and especially with oneself.

Through in-depth therapy, I help high achievers process and heal ongoing guilt, worry, self-doubt, and not feeling good enough on their path to creating space and possibility for more balance, inner peace, and satisfaction in life.

I love working with people who are ready to create a rich, meaningful life beyond their professional pursuits—people who are realizing that their ambition and achievement is coming at some real personal costs, and they’re ready to do a different kind of work on themselves.

That’s where therapy comes in.

I believe deeply in the transformative power of therapy, having experienced it in my own life.

As a therapist, I am warm, honest, engaged, curious, patient, and attuned to creating a space that is open, contemplative, and growth-oriented.

I especially love cultivating moments with clients for imagination, play, and laughter—things that I see as absolutely essential (in and out of therapy) to helping us heal, grow, and create meaning in our life.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I can be found outside with something or another on my back—

  • My hiking pack on a multi-day backcountry trek

  • That same backpack in a hostel abroad somewhere

  • A scuba tank under the ocean

  • My daypack for a day hike in the mountains or strolling on the beach

  • A fanny pack at a good live music show/festival

Oh, one more thing: don’t be surprised if my orange tabby fur baby shows up in our virtual sessions!

His name is Kitty Cuddles—yes, I’m serious, that’s his real name. :)
