Meet Chaim Rochester

As a therapist, I’m drawn to the complexity, intensity, and creativity of the human experience.

After a career in corporate consulting and executive coaching, I got to a point where I felt called to do work that was more meaningful and able to help more people. I transitioned into psychology and brought my passion for human potential and transformation with me.

My clinical orientation is grounded in psychodynamic and relational theory, which allows me to help my patients develop deep insights and powerful shifts in their lives.

Whether dealing with the stress and emotional toll of leadership, the impact of trauma, challenges with addiction, or the emotions that can build up over our lifetimes and leave us feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I love working with leaders, high-performers and creatives navigating life to help create a greater range of freedom and possibility

My approach is rooted in deep listening, curiosity, and a belief in the transformative power of witnessing. I help clients develop a more spacious relationship with themselves—expanding their emotional range, loosening the grip of self-doubt or shame, and finding more meaningful ways to connect with others and with their own purpose. I show up in the therapy room with warmth, openness, and a sense of humor, creating a space where real change can unfold.

I’m especially interested in how ambition and achievement can sometimes mask disconnection—from self, from emotion, from joy. Therapy offers a space to explore those hidden costs and rediscover what else is possible.

Outside of the therapy room, I’ve been playing guitar since I was 13, and music continues to be a source of inspiration and connection for me. Whether through sound, relationship, or conversation, I’m always interested in what helps people feel more fully alive and more deeply human.
